Join us for a six week exploration of mindful sexuality and relating…

In this 6 week class you will:

  • Come into a direct relationship with your sexuality
  • Extend your practice of mindfulness into intimate connection
  • Engage with your desire and understand its deeper call
  • Learn to work with difficult emotions, like jealousy and shame
  • Experience greater connection in some of the most challenging areas of life

What topics do we cover?

  • Week One: Entering the practice of intimacy. Coming into relationship with our sexuality. Engaging with the messy stuff.
  • Week Two: Understanding the true nature of desire. Desire vs. attachment. Attuning to the call of your deeper desires.
  • Week Three: Exploring mindfulness of the body. Extending mindfulness into the realm of connection. Practicing conscious touch. Learning to stay present in times of intense sensation.
  • Week Four: Working with difficult emotions – shame, jealousy, competition and fear. Using the poisons as medicine. Developing compassion, sympathetic joy and equanimity.
  • Week Five: Dharmic relating and the marks of existence. Intimacy, dukkha, anicca and anatta.
  • Week Six: Extending intimacy into all areas of life.

How Does the Class Work?
Classes begin on September 7 and run from 7:30-9:30pm. The classes will continue through October 9. The class lectures and instructions are recorded, so if you have to miss a class, you can make it up.
